Cute house! I like the combination of the rose bushes & the palm trees. The rose bushes make me think of Alice in Wonderland.
Smoky sunsets.

Snail's eye view!
Shiloh; this snippet was so enchanting. I have missed your pretty flowers. You mentioned once that Nasturtiums were one of your favorites. I can certainly see why. One of my favorites are the ice-plants. These are the ones Brock named Wormy, because when it isn't blooming only the green succulent shows up and to him they look like a worm.
ReplyDeleteEven though they have a pungent smell geraniums are another favorite. My grandma always had geraniums line each side of the side walk in Moses Lake. I fell in love with them then and I still favor them today.
We have a lot of the purple trees here in Oregon. I can't help but take pictures each year. And also the white trees.
Are the flowers that look like daisies, black eyed Susan's?
Do your neighbors share their oranges? There is nothing like a sun drenched orange?
Your resident gardener, Bob, is fantastic. I love how he spends so much time tending to the garden.
Well, how are feeling this week. Are you getting to your projects yet? Any big cook outs??
Love Joy
Wormy...that's cute. Geraniums are one of Bob's faves, too. I'm not sure if those flowers are black-eyed Susan's or not. I don't think so though. One of our neighbors that has orange trees also has a little stand out front that they put their surplus fruit/veggies on with a little sign that says 50 cents or $1 or whatever. We've never purchased any though. Bob says gardening is stress-relief for him. He really enjoys it. No, no projects or big cook outs...darn! :-)
