Can't go wrong with homemade fried chicken!
Following daddy around the house.
Using mama's cell since we lost the camera.
Playing around on the folding table at the laundromat.
A hitchhiker that just wouldn't let go!
I swear! This little bee was hanging on for dear life!
I couldn't believe she made it through 70 mph winds!
Photog Keira, just doing her thing.

Shiloh, thank you so much for notifying me a post is up---I hate waiting until the next day or after 11 am to have Lily and Co. post. That fried chicken looked so good. I noticed the date on the camera was April 2, so I assume you fried chicken before surgery. Have you cooked anything since surgery? You'll know you are on the way to being healed when you can cook again.
ReplyDeleteHow was the shower today? Hurray for showers--they make one feel so much better. Are you able to do your hair now or does that have to wait until a later time? Have Bob take a shower with you and do your hair if you have any trouble.
So happy to see your little bee. What a good picture. Just think of the strength it took to flap his wings so hard he stayed upright. Impressive.
On Keira playing at the folding table at the laundromat. Do they have toys there to play with? or does she have to carry a boat load activities?
Love, love that picture of Keira following Bob around the house. She truly does have the best parents to help her grow up.
It never rains but what it pours!!!I can't believe there was a fire right across the freeway from you. I have been watching the California fires fueled by the Santa Anna winds on TV. My Dad always talked about the Santa Anna winds. I can still hear his voice today. Earthquakes and wild fires are the big draw backs to beautiful, gorgeous California.
Thanks for resolving the mystery about Grannie and her surgery. No wonder she had an easier time. Stay away from the Ghetto doc. if possible. Check around and see what is possible for next time if surgery is necessary.
Love Joy
Actually cooked up some french toast for last night's dinner! Gotta love breakfast for dinner! For us, that's when you know the cupboards are a bit bare. No, I haven't washed my hair yet, but I only wash it once or twice a week anyway, so it's all good. There aren't any toys or anything at the laundromat, but there are nearby shops & stores. So our usual routine is to start the laundry washing, get a few groceries at the supermarket, get the clothes into the driers, go to the goodwill bookstore, & then get the clothes folded. So Keira is just playing with the books we picked up, while I folded clothes. Sometimes she likes to help fold, too! Thanks for the sweet parenting compliment. It's true about the Santa Ana winds. They're wonderful, unless there's a fire! Wild fires & earthquakes. Yes, that about sums it up! :-) Yeah, apparently laser surgery is the way to go if you're gonna have your gall bladder removed. C`est la vie! With our insurance, I don't have a choice of surgeons. You get who you're assigned to, or you don't have the surgery. It has worked out though, & hopefully I'm better off now. :-)
