k pics - March

Just a reminder, k pics are those taken by our resident 3 year old photographer, Keira.
Here are some of my faves from March.

An early afternoon at the park.
It's so great that she doesn't always aim the camera down at the ground!

Our household dragon.

Love this face!
She has really started to turn the camera around for more self portraits this month. And she loves making faces!

Daddy's sketches.

From Max & Ruby.

Inside the huge, decorative mate cup.
Still peering into things.

Keira's fingerpainting.

Tagging along behind the lawnmower.
Love the sunshine she captured over his shoulder.
I can hear John Denver now...
Sunshine, on my shoulders, makes me happy...

Where the stroller is folded up.

Inside daddy's shoe.

On the kitchen shelf.

I, for one, adore her perspective! Keep it up, Keira!

  1. Dear Shiloh, I especially liked the finger painting by Keira. The colors she choose were beautiful. The colors reminded me of Aunt Mary's coloring and my Mom wall paper. I am proud that I am good at coloring. It is because I watched Aunt Mary blend beautiful colors of orange and green and blue. It was kind of funny that Aunt Mary couldn't hold a spoon to eat, but she could hold a crayon and blend colors beautifully. I remember when I about six my Mother wall papered her bedroom in little rose buds. Keira's painting of red, green and blue reminded me of my Mother's wall paper. My Mom loved blue birds. I remember that I gave a hanging blue bird once to Bob. Does he still have it, or in all the moving has it gotten lost? If I had given it to Brock, he would have sold it for money. I see Bob as a SAVER, so I think he still has it---to remind him of Mom.

I love Bob's sketches. They are of Keira, RIGHT?
    Beautiful face.

It is interesting that Keira took a picture of "Ruby and Max". Remember, Tilly used to talk to Ruby and Max like they were really in the room. She would chastise Max a lot and exclaim. "No Max, you will get in trouble".

That was sweet about "Sunshine on my shoulder", by John Denver. He was always a favorite singer to me, because his words were so REAL and always spoke to me.

I am glad Keira is learning to take pictures of her face now, even though they are goofy pictures. A picture of the inside of Bob's shoe and the Mate cup was funny. I love Keira's perspective too.

    Love Joy

    1. I'll have to ask Bob about the blue bird. He is a collector of everything & loves anything that hangs, so I'm sure he still has it around, somewhere. Yes, those sketches are of Keira. That's cute about Tilly scolding little Max. It's a cute show. Yeah, I grew up with John Denver, & I enjoy his folk tunes. I'm glad you enjoy Keira's pictures as much as I do. :-)
