Re-purposing some of the shelves in the front room.
When Keira was finished painting, Bob put the leftover paint to good use!
We don't get to go very often, but I like shopping here.
Keira's favorite thing to do at the park!
Fun, fun!
Out & about.
I love Keira's crazy mess all over the front room!
{ looking at it in this photo that is, in real life... not so much }
Dear Shiloh: I loved, loved the painting of Keira that Bob drew with the left over paint. To me, this painting is Keira when a teenager. So beautiful and mature. Bob has such a good imagination.
ReplyDeleteI can't believe Keira's balancing ability. In the living room she managed to stack ingredient so well.
This is a skill and at three she has it.
I loved Keira's body art. She is wearing socks and shoes produced by body circles. What an imaginative and creative little girl.
I don't know anyone who doesn't like to swing. Even grown ups will get in a swing and go up high.
Keira is also very energetic. As Bob says, "I wish I had her energy."
I loved the pretty roses in "out and about." Do they sell anything unusual at Winco. At our Costco they even sell wedding dresses. I suppose cars are next?
I have to say that was an unusual picture in your last snippet with the big beautiful house and the roses and Palm Trees. What a striking picture. You mentioned it reminded you of Alice in Wonderland.
Have you had your staples removed? How was that? Do you feel better yet?
Love Joy
No, they don't really sell anything unusual at WinCo, that I can think of anyway. Mostly just typical supermarket finds, with some seasonal & gardening items. I really like their bulk foods section, particularly the nuts & spices. Yes, that house did remind me of Alice in Wonderland. Not the house as much as the manicured rose bushes.Yes, I finally had my staples removed last Tuesday. It was a piece of cake getting them out, & I felt instantly so much better! Of course, today I donated blood, so I'm really tired again. Oh well, hopefully it will pass quickly & I can get start getting some things done this coming week!:-)
DeleteShiloh: I am glad having the staples removed was a piece of cake. Jon (and Kate) made it look horrible. Knowing Kate however, she pulled them out and made it look very painful. They shortly thereafter got a divorce and Jon probably thought she hurt him on purpose. They had a set of twins and six other babies, and Kate probably wanted to save money so she took out the staples. Jon obliviously didn't appreciate. Well, the ordeal is finally over, and good things are on your horizon. Congratulations.
ReplyDeleteThanks, Joy. I donated blood Saturday morning, which wiped me out for the day, & Sunday went to church & taught the Sunbeams in primary, so by Sunday evening my tummy was hurting again. Ugh. I don't like the setbacks, but am definitely grateful to be on the road to recovery. :-)
DeleteWow! U & bob both! This kid is set! She can do anything b/c of the love & inspiration u both provide! Staples? What the heck happened?
ReplyDeleteAww, thanks again, Bridge baby! Yeah, I am still recovering from gall bladder surgery a few weeks ago. I had gall stones & had to have it removed. It all went well, just a slow go of getting better because I do silly things like donate blood too soon & get sick & puke! Ugh! Oh well. I'm good now... I hope:-) *hugs*
