Keira wanted to try out the new Trail-A-Bike, out in front of our local bicycle shop. Looks like fun, doesn't it?
Yes, this is what happens when mama says you can play with real money, & daddy lets you have the scissors to practice your skills, unsupervised. Needless to say, we have since reviewed a list of items Keira is not permitted to cut. At the top of the list: HAIR! A close second, is cash!
A trip to get some substantial dental work done. I'm glad to report that all went smoothly & she made it through like a pro! She was pleased to find out that swollen lips & cheeks call for soft foods like bananas & chocolate pudding!
Dear Shiloh:
ReplyDeleteI can't believe that Keira's legs reach the pedals. What a TALL girl she is.
That is funny about the cash and scissors. My brothers cut each others hair when little. My sister and I cut our dolls hair. Those scissors sure can cost a lot of damage.
Glad Keira made it through the Dentist ordeal No wonder, George, Fred and Jon became Dentist as I think the Fairbanks have bad teeth. Woe to the Fairbanks's.
Love Joy
Yes, Keira is tall, over 3 feet now. Between her height & her developed verbal skills, people often think she is kindergarten age! LOL Stel told me about Bobby taking the scissors to the curtains in his bedroom while he was supposed to be napping one day. Not good! Aleah cut her own hair once, too. That's when she went from having a long to short hair-do, but actually the short hair looked so darn cute on her! About Keira's teeth, something was wrong with the front 3 teeth since they came in. Perhaps a deficiency? Anyway, it made those teeth susceptible to decay, & once it set in, they just went downhill fast! Especially during the 4 months it took us to get the actual dental work done! I was worried they were just going to crumble away! Sure glad they didn't! She has the sweetest smile:-)
