This sweet little girl's birthday is part of the reason
it's been quiet on the blog as of late.
October marks the beginning of the holiday season, for us anyway.
Starting with Keira's birthday!!!
Of course, there's also the pumpkin patch, the ward Halloween party,
and Halloween itself.
Not to mention I'm doing some major fall cleaning/rearranging
around the house... or trying to anyway.
But I did get Keira's annual photo and birthday questions
asked and recorded a midst all the chaos that has been October,
which is truly a feat! Truly!
Just another drop in the bucket that is my awesomeness! Right?
So here she is at 4 years old... growing up so fast!
And just for comparison, here she was last year at 3 years old...
seeming so much smaller!
It's going to be great having all these compiled in an album
when she's all grown up!

Dearest Shiloh: Finally I get to see your beautiful girl all dolled up. That is so funny that Keira's favorite song is Katy Perry's ROAR!!! I like that song too. It is also interesting that this year's favorite color is purple while last year it was blue...at least she is in the same family with color. I can't wait to see what it is next year. I love her hair short. It is adorable. Does she like it short? -- is it easier to take care of?
ReplyDeleteI saw on QVC that they sell "Baby Bells" oranges each year. I think they are called "Baby Bells" but I'll watch again this year for the exact name. They look delicious.
Her favorite holiday is Easter two years in a row. It will be interesting if it changes next year.
Keira and Emberly want to be doctors when they grow up.
Her best friend is Siomara. How sweet. It is wonderful to have best friends.
Thanks for the post. It is wonderful and so needed.
Is this post on face book private or can all who have my face book see this post????
When does Notty (Christmas Elf) come out to play?
Love Joy
I'm glad you like the photos, Joy. Keira's hair isn't any shorter than it's always been. She's never had her hair cut. Sometimes it looks shorter though, just depending on the style and products we use in it. Keira actually likes her hair long and likes it when it's in twists so she can feel it. She also likes it when her hair hangs in her face a little, again so she can feel it. She loves long hair and is always pretending her hair is long by hanging things off her head and hair.

Our Christmas Elf's name is Penelope, and she won't be coming out to play until December.:-)
Well, that is shocking that Keira doesn't have a hair cut. I guess you have the best of both worlds, since you can fix it "long" of "short"! What a lucky girl. I always preferred long hair too and my Mother preferred short. When I was in high school I wore my hair long with a french twist in the MIDDLE so half my hair was long and half was twisted up. I could always see in my mind's eye my Mom cutting the bottom off.
ReplyDeleteOh yes, Penelope. She just looked like a Noddy Elf.
I think the oranges might of been called "Honey Belles". I hope they are on TV again this year so I can see what they are really called. Ha Ha Baby Bell is cheese.
Love Joy
You'll have to show me a picture of your french twist sometime! Yes, honey belles sounds right, as there are honey tangerines.:-)
