This is the week Keira and I left on our trip to North Carolina to visit Auntie Stela, Uncle Jeff, and cousins Kimi, Bobby, and Aleah. We had such a good time, and I took so many pictures I'll have to do another post just to cover our trip! Here are some snippets though.
Just being silly in the yard after daddy had mowed.
So happy to be using her own Keira-sized cart!
Actually our second flight of the day, but the longest. She loves to fly!
Ran out of time before we left for our trip, so we did them the day after our arrival.
Yikes! This storm knocked the power out for a day. Boo!
Might as well go swimming then!
Awesome way to finish out the week!
Keira is now officially in love with museums!
Thanks Auntie Stela and Uncle Jeff!:-)

There is nothing like freshly mowed grass. I remember the fragrance of water-mellon whenever I smelled mowed grass. Keira was so adorable doing cart wheels or whatever on Bob's freshly mowed lawn. It is a temptation to play on a yard that is freshly manicured.
ReplyDeleteI liked Keira's nail and toe polish. She is a girly girl.
Ethan likes the little child sized carts in the grocery stores also. It makes children feel so big and important when they can wheel that cart.
Shiloh, I guess it was just the pictures you have taken recently that I don't have. I am sure you haven't had time to send them just yet. The ones I especially remember that I don't have are 1) Daddy sitting and smiling on the big red couch, 2) Keira standing behind Daddy as he sketches his famous sketches, 3) Daddy working on the house, 4) Daddy going down the slide with Keira, 5)leaning over Keira as they play, 6)brushing his teeth--I like his determination--just reminds me of his childhood.
Thanks so much when you get around to it.
Carolina seems like an enchanting place. I am glad you and Keira got to visit another spot on earth and partake of her goodness.
Love Joy
Sorry it took so long to reply back to you, Joy. We've had so much going on this past week. Thanks for letting me know about the pictures. I think most of those you listed are actually photos Keira took! LOL;-) But I will try to remember them next time I get some photos printed up and sent out. It was a neat experience going to North Carolina. It was my first time on the East coast as well!:-) It certainly is green and lush and humid... and beautiful!
