  1. Daddy's drawing of the May flowers was wonderful. I just love his cartoon-looking pictures of Keira. I remember my Mother always celebrated May Day and she and Aunt Mary always put flowers on people's door knobs. They grew up in cold freezing Canada and signs of spring was always such a delight to them.

Heidi's favorite munchies are also Croutons. She and Em love munching on them. Keira could have a good time munching away. Do you guys munch on them in salads (of course)or sometimes PLAIN?

Did Keira hurt her knee while biking or something else? I can't imagine the bike as you got her elbow and knee pads...unless she rode without putting her pads on?

When looking out the window at the upside down hanging plant which I love and find so captivating. Is that the hanging up-side-down tomotoe planter that I have seen on TV?? or do they really make hanging up side down planters for flowers now? Whatever, Bob, is so creative.

I loved the picture of Bob looking at the garden. He has "cute legs" standing by the beautiful flowers. What kind of flowers are they?

Loved Keira's self portraits. She is cleaver and learned to take self portraits.

    Love Joy

    1. Thanks for sharing your stories, Joy. I always like to hear them. I like croutons on salads but Keira eats them plain, like Sean always did. Bob doesn't like them at all. Keira just plain fell down while running one day, so she didn't have any pads on for protection. She tripped near the edge of the sidewalk, so one knee got scraped up from the concrete, and the other knee got scraped up from the asphalt. She's all healed up now, though. I think that upside down planter is made for tomatoes, at least I recall seeing them on TV at some point, like you mentioned. Joe & Chita brought us this planter, and Bob decided to put a geranium in the bottom & Keira's strawberries up top. Not sure if that's exactly how it was intended but oh well. He uses strawberry planters for succulents, too! LOL The flowers in front of Bob are cannas, like the large red and orange cannas we have in the corner of the yard by the fence, but these are potted and a bit smaller. I love Keira's selfies, too! She's so adorable, even her shadow. :-)
