Keira looks so adorable in hats!
A trip to the dentist, to fill two small cavities.
So glad daddy could come along this time.
They have TVs in the ceiling!
& bubble gum flavored face masks for the laughing gas!
Keira did so great! So proud!
Petting the pansies.
RAWR!
{her prize from the dentist office... well one of them anyway. Dr. Truong loves Keira though, so instead of one sticker & one prize, she comes home with three of each!}
Simply lovely. Thank you, Bob!
Auntie Tiff sent new dresses & sandals!
It was so thoughtful, & we are so very grateful!
When it rains, it pours!
We love the goodwill bookstore near the laundromat.
These books were $1 each! Can't beat that!
Keira loves herself some readage!
We get lots of clear blue skies around here, but I do love it when there are clouds.
Dear Shiloh:
ReplyDeleteOh,Wow, I love all these posts recently. I will really miss your blogs when you and Keira go on vacation to Carolina. You deserve it and I wish you a wonderful time.
I love hats too. Keira sweet little face deserves cute little hats to frame her beautiful face. Which reminds me Keira looks so sweet in your Mother's scarf. So you inherited a doll and a scarf from your Mom. Anything else? What did Stel inherit? Your Dad always refers to Lillian "as the love of his life." She must of been a very sweet woman and I like her taste.
I have a question on "when it rain it pours!" What is being pointed at?--looks like a bug or dragonfly?
What did it pour down besides rain ????
Keira did so well at the dentist. Was the gift of teeth, Vampire teeth or just big teeth? Tell Keira that it is easier to take care of little cavities than to let them go and then have to more drastic dental work, like root canals and crowns. Eating is one of joys of life and so take good care of your teeth.
I loved Keira's new dress and sandals from Auntie Tiff--how is Tiff related to Grannie Rebekkah? I loved how the colors in Keira's dress and sandals matched the colors of the garden. Soooo adorabe.
I love blue skies and white clouds too. I first realized I loved blue skies and green pine trees when in Paradise. It took my breathe away.
Love Joy
I don't have too many things that were my mother's, but we do have some of her artifacts from Argentina. In this post, the photo of 'when it rains it pours' is a photo of flash flooding in front of our house during a downpour. In the last post, Keira was pointing at wildfire ashes on our front step. You should be able to click on the photos to see them enlarged. Anyway, it was raining down ash from the sky that afternoon. The teeth Keira has are vampire teeth. Yes, Tiffiney is Rebecca's oldest daughter. They both have great taste & get Keira the cutest things! Paradise is beautiful. I loved living there when we were first married.
DeleteOh, I forgot to ask about "petting pansies". Were these pansies at the dentist office or rows of pansies in your garden?
ReplyDeleteJoy
These pansies were at the dentist office. I'm not sure that we have any in our garden, but we may have one or two.
DeleteWell Shiloh: I do enlarge the photos but because of the size of my computer, I can only enlarge 4 or 5 times and that is NOT large enough to see every detail. Now that you pointed it out I can see Keira is pointing to ashes. I remember when Mount Saint Helens blew and it rained ashes also, and the sky turned black. Did your sky turn black from ashes? My Mother never liked Albion or could see her beauty. She was a California Girl. Finally one day in May it was so beautiful with the blue skies and the green wheat fields that I exclaimed "Mother, you must admit Albion is beautiful!! Right then Mount Saint Helene exploded & the sky turned black and ashes fell and she exclaimed, "Yes, Joy it surely is beautiful!!!" Why did that have to happen right when I pointed out Albion's beauty. I was never able to convert my Mother.

Oh, okay. I just wanted to remind you that the photos could be enlarged, just in case you forgot, that's all. Your computer sounds like mine, in its ability to enlarge anyway. I wasn't there for the eruption of Mt. St. Helen's, but we came to the family reunion shortly thereafter & there was still thick ash all over the ground. I like California, but I really like the Palouse, too! Too bad you were never able to convert your mother. One thing I don't miss about the Palouse though, is the mushy, muddy winters. :-)
