Keira loves to take pictures. She often snatches up the camera & begins clicking away. I call her photos k pics, if only to distinguish them from my own. I believe I first mentioned them in this post from last year, where I shared one of my Project Life photobooks. There you can see some of my fave k pics from last year, including several candids of Bob & I, which I will spare you from in this post.
{book on the fan}
Not only do I love to see her perspective, but I love to see the objects, scenes, & people she captures. To me, they speak volumes about Keira; not only about life, & love, & childhood, but also about the personality & preferences that are uniquely hers.
{daddy napping}
She loves taking pictures of the bed & blankets, even when daddy's not in it.
We have many, many pictures of Keira's foot. It's usually the right foot. Sometimes it's on top of a toy, sometimes on a pile of dirty laundry, but most often just on the carpet like this.
{self portrait?}
Keira absolutely loves to take pictures with the camera peering inside of something, or behind, or underneath. Perhaps it's just her natural childlike curiosity.
{inside daddy's work crate}
{inside the bag she keeps her leappad in}
{inside her glass of juice}
Yikes! But so darn cool!
{inside her toy bus}
Keira often aims the camera down, or up.
{daddy's toes}
{ceiling fan}
There's also the random photos from around our little home.
{dvds in the tv stand}
At least they're somewhat organized.
{the clutter on mama's desk}
Definitely no organization going on here!
Keira loves to photograph whatever she has playing on the television at the moment.
{Little Bear}
{inside daddy's bag of marigold seeds}
{mama's tabletop full of Project Life}
{Inside her leappad bag again, but this time no leappad, just her lizards at the bottom}
This shot is my absolute fave k pic so far this year.
{peeking down behind the toy box}
Thanks for capturing those cobwebs, my girl.
{the stickers on her toy bucket}
And last but not least...

Dear Shiloh,
ReplyDeleteI loved k-pictures. You can tell from a young age what your child will grow up to be. Since Keira is interested in photography and art I dare say she will be very interested in these projects as she grows into adulthood...maybe she will join National Geographic?
I want to see the photos she found of interest in you and Bob. Send send them to me...please, please, please.
It is so funny that she finds her foot of interest. Wait until she discovers her beautiful face. You should show her she can take pictures of her face. Thanks goodness, however, she hasn't learned the capability yet--especially when she fell and hurt her face. It would hurt me to see her face all scared up.
I can see why she took a picture of the book on the fan---Raggedy Ann was visiting the fan. Was Bob in the picture of the blankets and the bed? I couldn't quite tell since Bob's always covers his head when asleep.
That was funny that she took a picture of her juice cup, the ceiling fan, your clutters and Little Bear on the TV. I too take pictures on the TV--like clips from the Lion, Witch and the Wardrobe.
Love Joy
Yes, Bob was in the bed but she will also take pictures of the bed & blankets even when the bed is empty. I will send you a few pictures by email. Glad you enjoyed the k pics! Thanks for the comments!
