Sunday Dresses

I have featured this adorable little black & white gingham bee dress in a previous Sunday Dresses post, so I wasn't planning on sharing these photos. But alas, I have sad, sad news. My 10+ year old, 4th generation Fujifilm digital camera has given up on me. For the mama who loves to take pictures daily, this is most definitely sad news indeed. So, for the time being, until I can track down a replacement on a limited budget of zero dollars, I will just share what I have & what I am working on with Project Life & other endeavors. So here is happy Keira, once again, in the sweet dress from her grannie. She is mostly happy to be enjoying her red vine!

As soon as she had devoured its deliciousness, she wanted out of the heat & back into the house!

I love her surprised look when the unexpected happened!

  1. Dear Shiloh:

I am so sorry about your $10.00 camera. It took beautiful shots and I enjoyed so much "how you were able to play around with it" to make even more beautiful shots. I can't believe inflation and that now it costs $65.00

I love the shots of Keira in her bee dress. She looks so beautiful and I don't remember seeing these ever so they were all a fresh air of springtime.

What was the unexpected thing that happened that caused the extreme look on her face?? She is so kissable.

I hope Bob gets your camera fixed soon as I so love your blogs.

    Love Joy

  2. Well, my camera did not inflate from $10 to $65. I indicated it was $10 just to demonstrate how outdated it was. I can't even remember how much we paid for it so long ago, but it was probably around $200, but I'm sure we got some kind of deal on it. I think the price has since dropped, with the arrival of new generations of cameras, then gone up again, becoming a rather hard to find relic. So I can replace mine for $65. Of course, I would much rather put $65 toward a top of the line Nikon, but c'est la vie! I'm glad you enjoyed the photos. I still have a few left to post that are recent. After that, I will have to go further back. What happened was, she was trying to open the door but couldn't, so she had given up & was turning away when suddenly the door opened & surprised her. It was actually Bob who had opened it for her. But I caught that little moment of surprise.:-)
