Last Thursday our friend & neighbor, Marie, surprised us with a little pool for Keira. Well, you can bet your bottom bippy (aww, that saying makes me miss my old friend, Paula) that Keira wasted no time putting on her swimsuit & fillin' 'er up! Making her ball spin around was just extra fun!
One happy Keira, & our garden tomatoes in the background. It was overcast off & on this particular afternoon, but positively hot nonetheless.
I love how these little pool pics turned out. An adorable model always helps, but I also love the light & the water! So you'll have to excuse me for sharing so many great shots!
Taking a break to enjoy some warm cherry tomatoes, juice & seeds all down her chin! I love her curls! Keira's hair is getting so long these days!
Our little hummingbird friend, keeping an eye on us.
& some basil to go along with the tomatoes! Garlic chives are behind.
Just playing around.
Back in the water.
Playing with the little blue butterfly she picked out for the yard several weeks ago.
Ah. Thanks, Marie!
Dear Shiloh:
ReplyDeleteWhat a wonderful friend to present Keira with a blue pool. It matches the umbrella and blue butterfly.
I especially like the 5th picture where Keira is sqwatting (sp?) down among the plants. Her hair & body just looks so perfect.
I love to see hummingbirds. Marie (my sister) said one day a little hummingbird kept flying to the window and back and forth to the hummingbird feeder until Marie got up and went outside to look at the feeder and sure enough, it was empty. Wasn't that a smart hummingbird?
I love seeing Keira playing in the pool I am so glad she got to cool off during a hot day.
Do you know how to "spell check" from the blog?????? This time your blog didn't show up in email, only facebook????????
Love Joy
Aww, thanks, Joy. Keira sure does love her little pool! It was a sweet gift. I almost deleted the photo where Keira is squatting down because it wasn't in focus. But I edited it, softening it further & used an infrared effect. Then I liked it enough to keep it. Spell check on the blog is automatic. Just finish typing your word all the way & hit the space bar or period. If the word is mispelled it will be underlined in red. Then just right click over the word & it brings up the menu you can choose from to make the correction, if you don't know how to already. Also, the way my feed burner setting work, I can only choose one 2-hour window of time each day in which the notification emails are sent. That time is 9-11am pacific. So if I post the evening before, you won't receive the notification until the next morning. I just happened to put it up on facebook this time, too, so you saw it there first. :-)
