Daddy took Keira's tent & tunnel out to the yard when he had finished mowing the lawn, so she could enjoy the sunshine. We have a small yard, so we do our best to keep it fun & interesting for her. Bob does a great job of it, with the little picnic table he built, the sand pile, flower beds, & the little water slide he got for her. We also have her art supplies, including sidewalk chalk, bubble machine, and various outdoor craft & science projects we do together. Keira even takes the camera outside to take pictures sometimes. She likes to have blankets laid out because the grass makes her itchy. I think she'd like them all laid out regardless!
This is a close up of the denim rag quilt above center. I made this quilt about 2 years ago for Keira. It has lots of pockets for her to play with, & is nice & thick, so perfect for laying on the grass. The little bit of red that comes through is from the plaid flannel fabric on the reverse side. I still love it!
Tunnel of Fun!

We finally finished our thank you cards & got them in the mail! It took some doing to get Keira focused long enough to actually help out with them, but I thought they turned out great! She has been learning sign language the past couple months, so we did little hand cutouts making the sign for 'I love you'! We did the watercolor painting with Koolaid; it smelled fabulous! I don't have any envelopes that fit the cards we made, so we crafted our own & decorated with stickers.

Two little avocado plants on our front steps. It took forever for them to start growing, but once they did, they just took off! I love the different shades of color!
