My hubby loves rocks in the yard & garden. He would have a big pickup truck hauling huge boulders home if he could! These small rocks are in a pile at the side of the yard, waiting to be used.
A small corner of the yard, with succulents & a small rock garden. I love the additional color & texture the rocks bring.
Speaking of succulents...this shot turned out to be so interesting!
Keira & I love to tour the yard & garden to see the fruits of Bob's labors. Here are some geranium buds...
...& a rose in bloom. These are my favorite roses in terms of color, for sure!
Every time Keira sees my bike, she talks about us going for a ride sometime. I just need to get one of those bike trailers for kids, so she can come along for the ride! She has a bike of her own, but doesn't know how to ride just yet.
Our sunflower has finally bloomed! It's so tall we can barely see the yellow petals!
Our neighbors dead tree in the back yard makes for some interesting photography with a heat map effect!
I also had to use it with the geranium leaves, as they remind me so much of fractals...
& last but not least...another shot of something ugly, but interesting & somewhat beautiful in its own way...
