Snippets 25.52

We were still in North Carolina for the first part of this week.
This was the first time Keira attended a ward other than our own.
She had fun.

Such a sweet face!

More fun at the pool with Kimi and Aleah.

And more fun games!
I love playing games with the family, and Auntie Stel has so many great games! We played Apples to Apples, Keira's matching cards game, Harry Potter Clue, Guillotine, Ticket to Ride, Sabotage, and this game, Pop 5. Yay! So fun!
I still can't believe we never got to Settlers of Catan!

Cousins are so awesome!

During the plane trip home, I took this shot of my beautiful charm bracelet from Stela.
She surprised me with a new charm for it during our visit. Sweet!

Bob was obviously happy to have us home!
Several hours later than expected, but we finally made it!
Poor guy had to do his own cooking while I was off cooking up a storm in North Carolina! Yum! Luckily our neighbors were kind enough to take pity on him at least one night, and bring him some dinner. Thanks Pam & Jim!

Keira, playing in the rental car. One of these days, when we finally get a car of our own, I'm never gonna get her out of there! haha!

Bob scrubbed the stove clean for me while we were away.
A gift to entice the cook, perhaps? :-)

  1. Shiloh, how wonderful--more to your trip to N. Carolina. Keira was so cute going to a new ward. I get so much enjoyment seeing her all dressed up. What a little doll. I enjoyed seeing all the cousins and Keira together. Just think Bobby and Kimi used to be Keira age. I used to have crushes on my cousins, so Keira probably has a crush on Bobbi.

I loved Bob's caricature of being happy you were home. Bob is a thoughtful man cleaning your stove so beautifully. It does inspire the COOK to cook something heavenly. He was always so thoughtful and helped me whenever with my house in Pullman. This trait of his has always amazed me.

I LOVED your bracelet, and I am glad Stela got you a new charm.

Sean, Gaby and kids are visiting the Oregon Coast and so I'll get to see them later today or tomorrow--Can't wait!!

    Love Joy

    1. I know, cousins are often our first crushes, aren't they? And there are just so many darned good looking cousins in our family! It's hard to believe Stel's kids used to be so small. They all grow up so fast! That's so awesome that you get to see Sean and his family! Exciting! I hope you all have a blast! xoxo
